Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum
Aircraft carrier, sub, destroyer, planes and more in the NYC harbor
USS Alabama
Awesome experience, get to explore the entire battleship, plus a sub and planes. Mobil, AL
USS Kidd
USS Kidd destroyer in Baton Rouge, LA
Hill Aerospace Museum
Great museum just north of Salt Lake City, UT
EAA AirVenture Museum
Experimental Aircraft Association. In Oshkosh, WI
McClellan Aviation Museum
Located in Sacramento, CA
S.S. Jeremiah O'Brien
A WWII Liberty Cargo ship, the last remaining. Located in San Francisco, CA She's still operational!
USS Pampanito
A WWII Fleet class sub, still in the water. Has the training manual online. Also in San Francisco, CA
Volk Field Air National Guard Base and Hardwood Range
The base was practically in my backyard growing up. Located in Camp Douglas, WI
Kennedy Space Center
Was able to play their for a day and see the Shuttle Endeavor. Located in Florida
Chicago Science and Industry Museum
Has the U-505, many planes, trains, automobiles, space craft, parts of the Titanic and much more
International UFO Museum & Research Center
It fits in, depending on what you believe... In Roswell, NM
Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing
A worldwide group dedicated to keeping war birds flying. Chapter located in Mesa, AZ

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
This one get honorable mention, have not been in it, but was able to peek in the windows. Washington DC

I have been to many other museums over the years, these are just the ones that have a strong air or navy connection.
